Networking: UNINOVIS Centres of Excellence and the Development of International Cooperation
On 12 December, the program of the international scientific conference ADLES Powered by UNINOVIS 2025 was complemented by a networking event and a roundtable discussion entitled Bridging Practice and Research: Scientifically Exploring Alliance-Driven Innovations in Higher Education Institutions. The event brought together researchers and practitioners from various partner institutions of Kauno kolegija HEI and the UNINOVIS European University Alliance to discuss opportunities for integrating institutional practices with academic research. The discussion fostered a focused dialogue on innovations developed within the Alliance, emphasizing the importance of applied research, joint initiatives, and knowledge exchange in strengthening inter-institutional collaboration.
Following the roundtable, participants joined the official virtual presentation of the eight UNINOVIS Excellence Hubs established across all Alliance institutions. At Kauno kolegija HEI, the Centre of Excellence in Logistics and Cybersecurity was officially launched. These hubs are intended to serve as key structures promoting closer collaboration both within and between centres, facilitating staff mobility, joint research projects, and integrated study programs. The conference also gained additional international significance through the active engagement of UNINOVIS partners and the associate partner, Interdisciplinary Transformation University Austria, who contributed to the dissemination of the event, delivered scientific presentations, and participated in networking activities, thereby enhancing the content, international dimension, and visibility of the conference.
