Title of the Report: Social Worker as an Educator in the Process of Helping War Refugees
Summary
War is not a temporary phenomenon, and the “hot spots” like Syria, Yemen, and Afghanistan are constantly observed in the realities of our modern world. These “hot spots” are causing an influx of refugees. The war in Ukraine has further highlighted this trend. Modern social work is inseparable from the provision of timely assistance to refugees. Today’s social workers play an important role as educators who help refugees accept assistance and integrate more successfully. Scientific studies confirm the role of social workers as informal educators. These specialists are identified as an important part of social capital, affecting both the psychosocial status of displaced people and their integration process.
