Contours of the Future<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The International Scientific Conference ADLES Powered by UNINOVIS 2025. Art, Design, Languages, Education and Social Work: Innovations in Theory and Practice (ADLES 2025), organised this year in collaboration with the European university alliance UNINOVIS, is traditionally accompanied by a virtual exhibition of visual art and design.<\/p>\n

Academics, business representatives, and artists from various countries gathered at the ADLES 2025 conference to present innovative practices, discuss cross-sectoral challenges, and develop advanced digital solutions. Participants from Lithuania, Latvia, and Turkey look to the future in their artworks of painting, graphic art, computer graphics, textile, and sculptural objects, as well as in fashion design works, and reflect on human responsibility, choices, and (creative) freedom in the virtual exhibition “Contours of the Future”.<\/p>\n

The participants in the exhibition encourage viewers to step back from everyday life and view their surroundings and themselves from a bird’s-eye perspective, reflecting on the fact that the future is not predetermined \u2013 we create it through our individual and collective choices. Every decision we make shapes the future. The artists aim to engage the viewer in a dialogue about the kind of future we want, encouraging them to reflect not only on the vision but also on the importance of actions and choices in creating it. The artists gently remind us that we must pause and realise the need for inner balance, which allows us to avoid “falling apart” so that we can create.<\/p>\n

We are delighted that representatives from Istanbul Aydin University \u2013 dr Sevim Aydin\u00e7 B\u00f6lat, Nihal Bolkol, dr. Emine Eryazici and Muhsine G\u00fclg\u00fcn Tekin are participating in this year’s exhibition. Their artworks emphasise the importance of creativity as a fundamental of human existence. And artist Ineta Grei\u017ea, a graduate of the Art Academy of Latvia, who is participating in the exhibition accompanying the conference for the first time, encourages viewers to reflect on how much awareness, responsibility, and effort are needed not only to have, but also to be able to maintain such precious (creative) freedom.<\/p>\n

The virtual exhibition “Contours of the Future” becomes a space for dialogue between artists and viewers about each of our decisions, responsibilities, and freedom.<\/p>\n
